Black Dog has been around over a century now and has the history of rich, luxurious and impeccable class. Undoubtedly, India’s finest international Scotch whisky comes in a beautiful bottle and is a statement of pure class. Having a soulful drink requires a setting of pure divine, for me, it is when good friends come together and dwell into conversations that have a lasting effect on everyone.

Black Dog Quintessence, the 21 Year Old variation of the majestic Black Dog Scotch Whisky label is by far the best conversation started and builder I have ever had. The intense amber gold with shimmering highlights invites you to a smooth Scotch experience, one that will always be a constant reminder of perfection. Multitudes of seductive aromas immediately arouse the senses. Soft peaches and ripe citrus fruits coupled with pear, marzipan and bergamot begin this flirtatious fanfare. The aged malt whiskies from the Speyside valley make their own inimitable contribution by adding that distinctive charm and finesse. Velvety and smooth, as if the hand of time in the finest sherry wood has weaved its magic spell to perfection.

Bold and magnificent, this outstanding blend must be given the reverence and respect it richly deserves. For twenty one years these aged single malts and grain whiskies have remained dormant in cold dark warehouses before they were finally blended together by Black Dog’s master Blender. Therefore the spirit must be held long on the palate for at least twenty one seconds to awaken its many hidden attributes. Like a rare masterpiece it will reveal its inner beauty, it’s inner world. Intense flavors of Seville oranges, ripe sweet mangoes and ginger spice reward the palate, and then whispers of bitter chocolate and crushed almonds drift lovingly on.

A drink fit for the Gods themselves, Black Dog Quintessence is the pinnacle of perfection.
