Chicken Masala My Way

I have been a huge fan of cooking. Personally its like therapy for me. I have been experimenting with my own recipes for quite a long time and now I wanted to share the successful ones. So here we go.

What you need?

500gm Chicken
Butter – 2 Tsp
Cloves – 3 to 4 pieces
Cinnamon Stick – Quarter inch
Oil – 2 tbs
Curd – 2 Tbs
Onion – 2 medium sized
Tomato – 2 medium sized
Turmeric
Chilli powder
Ginger Garlic paste
Garam Masala Powder
Cumic Powder
Coriander Powder
Salt – To taste
Sugar – A Pinch
Chicken Masala – ½ tbs (optional)

What you do?

Marinate Chicken in curd add 1/4 tbs Turmeric powder, ¼ tbs chili powder and leave for an hour.

Marinated Chicken

Chop Onion and tomatoes, keep ¼ of the onion aside and blend the rest of onions and tomatoes together to make a paste.

Heat butter in a pan and add cinnamon and cloves and then add chicken and fry for 10min.

For Masala – 

Add oil in a pan, add onions and fry till brown to this add ginger garlic paste and fry. Next add- turmeric ½ tbs and chili powder 1 tbs, cumic powder-1/2, Coriander Powder-1/2, Garam Masala Powder 1 tbs,chicken masala and fry for sometime. Sprinkle water if required. Then add onion-tomato paste and fry for 10 to 15 min.

To this masala put a pinch of sugar and add the fried chicken and fry for 5 min.

Next add a cup of water to the and shimmer on low flame for 10 to 15 min. Finally add a little butter.

Tadda! Your chicken masala is ready! 😀
