Western Countries have a culture to carry a bottle of wine for special occasions to a host’s party. Indian carry sweets over whenever they visit someone. Slowly, people have started watching their waist lines and are not easy on sweets, like they used to be.
Keeping in mind, the beautiful Indian tradition of Gifting with the changing social structures, I have started gifting friends a bottle of the beautiful bottle of Black Dog Scotch Whisky, the Triple Gold Reserve variant on those special occasions. It makes sure that I instantly become a hit with my friend and it definitely leaves a great taste for the both of us.
One of my friends recently celebrated his 1st wedding anniversary. I along with my better half barged into his house at midnight with balloons and made it a night to remember for them. We also brought a bottle of my favourite and the night went on so smoothly sharing their challenges when they first got together and till today, the ups and downs and everything in between. As they looked back over the past year or so, they realized their love has made them stronger with each passing day.
Hoping for them a bond that lasts the lifetime and seven more lifetimes after that!
